Data Scientist (Secret Clearance Required)

One Federal Solution is seeking a Data Scientist to support a government client. The Data Scientist will apply advanced data analytics and modeling techniques to evaluate alerts and adjudicative outcomes, transforming raw financial and personnel vetting data into actionable insights, dashboards, and recommendations that inform policy modernization. Data Scientist Responsibilities Extract, clean, and integrate data from government systems and personnel vetting records Develop statistical and machine learning models to identify clearance risk patterns and predictors Analyze closed alerts to identify features linked to actionable security issues Build dashboards, visualizations, and reports to support leadership decision-making Provide quantitative analysis of criteria and recommend threshold improvements Collaborate with economists and behavioral scientists to integrate qualitative and quantitative findings Document methodologies and ensure reproducibility of analyses Data Scientist​​​​​​​ Qualifications Active DoD Secret clearance 5–7 years of data science experience, ideally in a DoD or Federal Government environment Familiarity with personnel vetting records strongly preferred Bachelor's or Master's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, Mathematics, or related field (experience may substitute for education) Demonstrated expertise in advanced data analytics, statistical modeling, and machine learning Strong ability to translate data into actionable insights through visualizations and reports Excellent communication and collaboration skills About One Federal SolutionOne Federal Solution (OFS) is an innovative Professional Services provider with over 20 years of experience supporting Defense and Civilian agencies.
