Role description
One of my clients is looking for DevOps Engineer - Remote for a contract role.
Please Note: We are only considering candidates looking for fresh visa sponsorship (who doesn't have any work visa in the US).
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• 6+ years of professional experience as a DevOps Engineer, Site Reliability Engineer, or related role.
• Proven hands-on experience as a DevOps Engineer or similar role.
• Strong expertise with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
• Proficiency in CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions, CircleCI, etc.).
• Solid understanding of Linux/Unix administration and shell scripting.
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Ansible, or equivalent).
• Strong knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, and container orchestration.
• Familiarity with logging and monitoring solutions (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack).
• Knowledge of version control systems (Git, Bitbucket).
• Understanding of networking, security best practices, and system troubleshooting.
