Job Title: Duck Creek Developer
Location: Remote (Lansing, MI - 2 Days in a month)
Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Duck Creek Developer to join our team and support the design, development, configuration, and implementation of Duck Creek Policy, Billing, and/or Claims solutions. You will work closely with business analysts, architects, and QA teams to deliver high-quality software that meets the unique needs of our insurance business.
Key Responsibilities:
β’ Design, develop, and maintain Duck Creek solutions using Author, Express, and other Duck Creek tools.
β’ Customize and configure Duck Creek Policy, Billing, or Claims applications to meet business requirements.
β’ Work with product owners and analysts to translate functional requirements into technical solutions.
β’ Debug, troubleshoot, and optimize existing Duck Creek implementations.
β’ Write and maintain technical documentation.
β’ Integrate Duck Creek solutions with external systems using APIs and middleware.
β’ Collaborate with QA for unit testing, system testing, and user acceptance testing (UAT).
β’ Follow Agile/Scrum development methodologies.
Required Qualifications:
β’ Bachelorβs degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field.
β’ 2+ years of hands-on experience with Duck Creek Suite (Policy, Billing, or Claims).
β’ Proficiency with Duck Creek Author, Express, and Server Components.
β’ Strong understanding of Duck Creek data model and architecture.
β’ Experience with Duck Creek integration points, including services and third-party systems.
β’ Proficiency in .NET, C#, SQL, JavaScript, and XML.
Preferred Qualifications:
β’ Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
β’ Experience with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS) and containerization tools like Docker/Kubernetes.
β’ Previous experience in P&C Insurance domain.
