Job Title: Duck Creek Developer Location: Remote (Lansing, MI - 2 Days in a month) Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Duck Creek Developer to join our team and support the design, development, configuration, and implementation of Duck Creek Policy, Billing, and/or Claims solutions. You will work closely with business analysts, architects, and QA teams to deliver high-quality software that meets the unique needs of our insurance business. Key Responsibilities: • Design, develop, and maintain Duck Creek solutions using Author, Express, and other Duck Creek tools. • Customize and configure Duck Creek Policy, Billing, or Claims applications to meet business requirements. • Work with product owners and analysts to translate functional requirements into technical solutions. • Debug, troubleshoot, and optimize existing Duck Creek implementations. • Write and maintain technical documentation. • Integrate Duck Creek solutions with external systems using APIs and middleware. • Collaborate with QA for unit testing, system testing, and user acceptance testing (UAT). • Follow Agile/Scrum development methodologies. Required Qualifications: • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field. • 2+ years of hands-on experience with Duck Creek Suite (Policy, Billing, or Claims). • Proficiency with Duck Creek Author, Express, and Server Components. • Strong understanding of Duck Creek data model and architecture. • Experience with Duck Creek integration points, including services and third-party systems. • Proficiency in .NET, C#, SQL, JavaScript, and XML. Preferred Qualifications: • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices. • Experience with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS) and containerization tools like Docker/Kubernetes. • Previous experience in P&C Insurance domain.
