In this role, you will prepare, analyze, and maintain financial budgets and forecasts for Supplier Management and delivery. You will also drive data-driven recommendations that improve profitability and streamline supplier management processes. You will analyze financial performance against industry benchmarks and historical trends, demonstrating market share, trending analysis, and top destinations.
As a Hotel Revenue & Performance - Analyst, Travel Industry Supplier Management & Delivery, you will
β’ Prepare and analyze ad hoc analyses for Supplier Management & Delivery in support of supplier business reviews
β’ Conduct preferred supplier analysis to evaluate supplier performance and identify opportunities to maximize earnings
β’ Track supplier performance through key financial metrics and provide insights for decision-making and optimization
β’ Create, examine, and distribute internal reporting on supplier performance and contract effectiveness
β’ Collaborate across teams to identify data reporting gaps and assist in projects to build new tools or dashboards that meet evolving business needs
β’ Analyze financial performance against industry benchmarks and historical trends
β’ Develop and maintain dashboards and reports to track key performance indicators (KPIs) related to supplier performance, market trends, and business objectives
β’ Drive data-driven recommendations that improve profitability and streamline supplier management processes
About You
β’ Extensive experience as a Business Analyst in the travel industry is required - ideally with a multi-unit hotel collection, hotel revenue performance group, or housing bureau
β’ Ability to develop and present trending and market share analysis
β’ Proficiency with MS Excel, including the ability to do pivot tables and macros
β’ Basic SQL skills required
β’ Power BI capabilities would be a plus
β’ Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex data and provide actionable insights
β’ Effective organizational and time management skills, with a solid ability to manage multiple tasks and timetables and to set and meet deadlines
β’ Flexible with proven ability to conform to shifting priorities, demands, and timelines
β’ Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
β’ Excellent communication skills and ability to present findings to senior leadership
