Akkodis is seeking Industrialization Engineer for a Contract with a direct client in Carson, CA
Pay Range: $50 - $55/hr on W2 (The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors)
Job Title: Industrialization Engineer
Location: Carson, CA
Duration: 6+ months with extension or review to convert to DH
Shift: Monday through Friday 7:00- 3:30
β’ Pilot all industrialization activities for new product development, new product introduction, new processes or equipment, process changes, and configuration changes
β’ Schedule and manage the different phases of the industrialization project in accordance with the project objectives.
β’ Setup and follow project progress indicators
β’ Coordinate tasks and actors of the industrialization process
β’ Organize milestone reviews and ensure their validation
β’ Lead and perform process failure mode and effects analysis (PFMEA) for all processes to define
Key process characteristics
β’ Link the results of the PFMEA to the control plan in the DVI-PPAP files
β’ Follow the production and control of prototype, development, qualification, and first article parts/assemblies
β’ Assist in developing models, databases and spreadsheets to analyze process data and capacity models
β’ Utilize and integrate big data analysis to demonstrate process capability and suggest improvements
β’ Communicate manufacturing results and performance through clear data visualization tools
β’ Lead configuration management activities and coordinate configuration changes into production
β’ Interface with Design Engineering for co-engineering activities to create a strong link between process performance and product performance
β’ Submit and track the requests for design change
β’ Submit ideas to support continuous improvement in safety, quality, productivity, and cost
β’ Provide complete and accurate documentation required for aerospace equipment production
β’ Follow all procedures administered by safety, quality, process engineering, and facilities engineering
Education
β’ BS Degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Industrial Engineering or technically related engineering field
β’ Three to five years of work experience in manufacturing and industrialization processes
β’ Experience in data analytics and process statistics preferred
β’ Lean Six Sigma experience β Green Belt certification preferred
