REPORTS TO:SABG Program Manager
FLSA STATUS:Regular Full-Time Exempt
SUMMARY: SABG is hiring Senior Analysts to support the Army G-8 in multiple divisions. By applying to this posting, you will be considered for placement in one of several specialized roles based on your background and expertise. This position is contingent upon contract award. Regular CONUS/OCONUS travel is required.

Key Responsibilities
β’ Support capability requirements validation through AROC/JROC
β’ Develop investment strategies and program documentation
β’ Conduct analyses for doctrine, training, and sustainment
β’ Brief senior Army leadership and prepare Congressional testimony
β’ Coordinate with stakeholders across DoD and industry
β’ Support TAA, FFR, and AEMC processes
Education And Experience
β’ Bachelor's degree required (Master's preferred)
β’ 5+ years Force Development experience at senior Army levels such as HQDA, MACOMs, or Army Service Component Commands
β’ Domain expertise in relevant portfolio area
β’ Familiarity with Army acquisition and modernization processes
Certifications Desired
β’ Requirements Management Certification Training (RMCT) Level-A or C
β’ Must complete within 6 months: HTAR, AOIC, JCIDS courses
Technical Skills
β’ Familiarity with Army databases (AE2S-M, CAMS, cQUIP, etc.)
β’ Microsoft Office suite expertise
β’ Knowledge of JCIDS, DoDI 5000.2, PPBE, and AROC processes

Summary Of The 13 Open Positions
β’ Aviation (FDV): Army aviation programs, Acquisition Category (ACAT) II/III management. Requirements: Operational experience in Army aviation units from company to brigade level; familiarity with aviation equipment types; knowledge and skills to manage ACAT II and III programs
β’ Fires (FDG): Air/missile defense, artillery systems, Ballistic Missile Defense System (BMDS), Space activities. Requirements: Doctrinal and practical experience with Joint operations, BMDS and Space activities; expertise with Army field artillery units and fire support; experience with Joint Theater Air and Missile Defense (JTAMD), Air and Missile Defense (AMD), artillery targeting systems (TS clearance required for BMDS and AMD positions)
β’ Focused Logistics (FDL): Sustainment, transportation, munitions, medical systems. Requirements: Operational experience in Army tactical formations/units; Transportation needs familiarity with tactical wheeled vehicles, trailers, Mine-Resistant Ambush Protected (MRAP) vehicles; Munitions needs experience with lethal/non-lethal munitions; Sustainment needs Ordnance/Quartermaster systems knowledge; Medical needs garrison and field medical systems experience
β’ Full Dimension Protection (FDB): Engineer (tactical bridging, construction, mines/munitions, counter-explosive hazard), Military Police (MP), Explosive Ordnance Disposal (EOD), Chemical, Biological, Radiological, Nuclear (CBRN) systems. Requirements: Understanding and tactical/operational experience in Army units with engineer, military police, EOD, and CBRN equipment; Counter-Improvised Explosive Device (C-IED) expertise for designated positions
β’ Human-Machine Integration (FDH): Robotics, Artificial Intelligence (AI), synthetic training, small Uncrewed Aircraft Systems (sUAS), loitering munitions. Requirements: Operational/technical experience in combat/combat support/combat service support formations; expertise with robotic combat vehicles, autonomous behaviors, machine learning (TS/SCI clearance required for AI/Robotics positions)
β’ Intelligence (FDI): Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance (ISR), electronic warfare, cyber systems. Requirements: Military intelligence experience at tactical, operational, strategic, and national levels; familiarity with Army intelligence unit doctrine and procedures; knowledge of full range of tactical ISR, EW, and Cyber systems (All positions require TS/SCI clearance)
β’ Mission Command (FDC): Network operations, Command, Control, Communications, and Computers (C4) systems, tactical radios, Communications Security (COMSEC), Satellite Communications (SATCOM), cyber operations. Requirements: Operational experience with Mission Command transport/network/service applications; understanding of Army command and control tactics and procedures; expertise with specific programs (Joint Battle Command-Platform, Assured Positioning, Navigation and Timing, waveforms, etc.) (TS/SCI clearance required for Cyber and Assured PNT positions)
β’ Soldier & Maneuver (FDD): Combat vehicles, soldier weapons/equipment/sensors. Requirements: Operational/technical experience in combat, combat support, combat service support, or combined arms formations; expertise with combat vehicles and soldier systems
β’ DOM Operations: Strategic analysis, decision support, programming data analysis, Strategic Portfolio Analysis Review (SPAR) support, Army Requirements Review Board (AR2B) coordination. Requirements: Experience with Program Objective Memorandum (POM) processes; ability to conduct quality control reviews and develop strategic products for senior leadership
β’ Communications Strategist: Congressional/stakeholder engagement, speech writing, strategic communications. Requirements: Experience with key stakeholders (Army, Congress, think tanks, industry); high interpersonal skills; ability to brief Army senior leaders; experience developing targeted engagement plans
β’ Modernization Strategy & Policy: Planning, Programming, Budgeting, and Execution (PPBE) processes, Doctrine, Organization, Training, Materiel, Leadership and Education, Personnel, Facilities, and Policy (DOTMLPF-P) integration, Regionally Aligned Readiness and Modernization Model (ReARMM) expertise. Requirements: Technical and operational analysis expertise; knowledge of Training Aids, Devices, Simulators and Simulations (TADSS) program development
β’ Foreign Military Sales (FMS): FMS program management, coordination with Army security assistance organizations and defense agencies. Requirements: Knowledge of FMS processes, international transfer procedures, export control regulations; experience with budget analysis and Army Staff coordination
β’ Materiel Readiness: Equipment readiness analysis, S-Level unit readiness, Reserve Component support, Army Readiness Management System (ARMS) data analysis. Requirements: Experience conducting in-depth equipment readiness analysis; ability to identify root causes of equipment shortages; knowledge of data trend analysis and coordination with Army Commands
