Role description
MES Business Analyst
New Iron is looking for a skilled individual to join our dynamic team as a MES Business Analyst.
This is an on-site, long-term contract position located in Santa Clara, CA. They are in the process of transitioning their current MES to a new MES solution for R&D lab environments.
The ideal candidate will possess MES modeling, including object creation, route development, and MES functional administration. If you have some experience with modeling, weβre happy to provide training to help you grow further. However, candidates must have overall experience with MES.
Collaborate with us to design, implement, and refine MES solutions that empower our clients to optimize operations and expand their business.
Responsibilities:
β’ Develop and enhance MES models and business flows to support on-site manufacturing
β’ Gather requirements, contribute to project timelines, design specifications, system flow diagrams, and ongoing support.
β’ Provide daily support for MES, including troubleshooting and system maintenance.
β’ Perform some software analysis, troubleshooting shooting and debugging as necessary.
Should Have:
β’ 3+ years of experience with MES systems.
β’ Proven experience or functional knowledge of MES systems including configuration, model development, and support.
β’ Ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions and execute user stories.
β’ Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
Nice to Have:
β’ Proven track record in launching software or services in collaboration with engineering teams, with a strong proficiency in prototyping, iterative development, and understanding Agile principles.
β’ Demonstrated success in driving end-to-end delivery of data and intelligence solutions, including various mechanisms such as dashboards, APIs, and real-time alerts.
β’ Hands-on experience with MES solutions in the semiconductor industry.
β’ Knowledge of databases (SQL, Oracle)
