Role: Oracle BI Reporting Specialist

Job Description:
1. BICC (Business Intelligence Cloud Connector):
β’ Design and manage BICC Data Extract Definitions (DEDs) and subject areas for Fusion ERP/HCM/SCM.
β’ Schedule and automate incremental and full data extracts to Oracle Object Storage or external systems.
β’ Optimize extract performance and troubleshoot failures or data quality issues.
β’ Support integration of extracted data into enterprise data lakes, data warehouses, or reporting platforms.
1. BI Reporting (Oracle Fusion):
β’ Develop interactive reports and dashboards using Oracle Transactional Business Intelligence (OTBI).
β’ Design and deploy pixel-perfect reports using BI Publisher, including bursting and delivery
β’ Understand and model Oracle Fusion subject areas, dimensions, and transactional data flows.
β’ Work closely with business users to gather reporting requirements and translate them into efficient BI solutions. o Ensure all reports meet compliance, audit, and performance standards.
1. Cross-functional Support:
β’ Collaborate with data engineers, architects, and business analysts to deliver end-to-end data solutions.
β’ Provide support and training to business users on reporting tools and data interpretation.
β’ Maintain documentation for data models, extract definitions, and report specifications.
β’ Stay current on Oracle Fusion reporting best practices and new features.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Experience integrating BICC with cloud data platforms (e.g., Azure, Oracle ADW).
β’ Familiarity with Oracle Analytics Cloud (OAC) or other BI tools like Power BI.
β’ Experience with Oracle Cloud roles, data security, and access controls in reporting.
β’ Oracle certification in Cloud Reporting or Analytics is a plus.
β’ Strong analytical and problem-solving mindset.
β’ Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
β’ Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
β’ Comfortable working in a fast-paced, evolving enterprise environment
