University of California Santa Barbara Oracle Developer (Fusion & Oracle Financial services) Duration: 1+ year contract (extensions or conversion) Location: Remote (PST core business hours) Pay: $140,000-150,000 Benefits: Medical, Dental, Vision, Equipment ect. • Must have previous oracle engineering experience with Oracle Financial Modules (PTP, ITC, RTR) • JOB DESCRIPTION UCSB recently went live with Oracle Financial Cloud, and this Oracle Technical Developer is being brought on to support the post-go-live phase. The role focuses on stabilizing the system, building custom reports and dashboards, developing integrations with other campus systems, and creating user-facing applications using Oracle VBCS and Redwood. This hire is critical to ensuring the new financial system is fully optimized and aligned with the university’s operational needs. This role will be 60% integrations, 20% front end development, and 20% reporting. REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field • 3–5 years of hands-on Oracle development experience, specifically within Oracle Financials Cloud • 4+ years of experience writing and optimizing complex queries, stored procedures, and database functions with SQL and PL/SQL • 5+ years of experience designing and developing operational OTBI reports and dashboards, including custom subject areas and advanced filtering • 1+ year of experience designing and building modern web applications using Oracle (VBCS) and the Oracle Redwood UX framework, using front-end development tools like HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. • Experience building integrations between Oracle Financials and other systems (internal or 3rd party) using REST APIs and SOAP APIs, as well as consuming REST and SOAP APIs, with a solid understanding of how to manipulate data formats like JSON and XML. • 3+ YOE working with Oracle Financials Modules listed, and understand how the system functions overall with Oracle Financials modules, including: • PTP (Procure to Pay) • ITC (Invoice to Cash) • RTR (Record to Report) • 4+ years of experience building reports using Oracle BI Publisher, including data models, templates, and scheduling • Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate across technical and non-technical teams NICE TO HAVE SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE • Oracle certifications related to development or cloud technologies • Experience with other Oracle Cloud applications or reporting tools • Background in higher education or public sector environments • Experience with embedding OTBI reports into FDI Analytics • Experience integrating with MuleSoft • Experience with concur SAP and Jaggaer Procurement
