The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in Oracle development, with expertise in OTBI, BI publisher, development, SQL, and integrations. This role also requires proficiency in Oracle Visual Builder Cloud Services (VBCS), including Oracle Redwood, and a deep understanding of REST and SOAP API integrations. The developer will work closely with cross-functional teams, communicate effectively with stakeholders, and provide technical solutions to support our financial operations. Responsibilities: ● Oracle Financials Technical Oversight: Oversee and manage technical issues within the Oracle Financials environment, ensuring system stability and optimal performance. ● OTBI Development: Design, develop, and maintain OTBI (Oracle Transactional Business Intelligence) reports and dashboards. Perform OTBI coding and development to meet business reporting requirements. ● SQL Development: Write complex SQL queries, stored procedures, and functions to support data analysis, reporting, and system integrations. ● Integrations: Develop, implement, and maintain integrations between Oracle Financials and other enterprise systems. ● Oracle Visual Builder Cloud Services (VBCS): Proficiency in VBCS is essential, as Redwood components are used within the VBCS environment. This includes designing, developing, and maintaining applications using VBCS. ● Oracle Redwood Design System: A deep understanding of the Oracle Redwood design system itself. This includes: ○ Knowledge of Redwood's user experience (UX) principles and guidelines. ○ Ability to apply Redwood styling, components, and patterns to create consistent and modern user interfaces. ○ Skill in customizing Redwood components. ● Front-End Development: Strong front-end development skills are necessary to effectively utilize Redwood components within VBCS. This likely includes: ○ HTML ○ CSS (including advanced styling concepts) ○ JavaScript ● API Integration: The ability to integrate Redwood-based applications with other systems, particularly using REST and SOAP APIs. This involves: ○ Understanding API concepts. ○ Developing and consuming APIs. ○ Handling data exchange formats (e.g., JSON, XML). ● User Interface (UI) Development: Experience in designing and developing user interfaces, keeping in mind usability and accessibility best practices. ● API Integrations: Develop and implement integrations using REST and SOAP APIs to connect Oracle Financials with external systems. Possess a strong understanding of API concepts and best practices. ● Financials Module Expertise: Demonstrate strong business knowledge of Oracle Financials modules, including: ○ PGM (Projects and Grants Management) ○ PTP (Procure to Pay) ○ ITC (Invoice to Cash) ○ RTR (Record to Report) ● Reporting Development: Design, develop, and maintain reports using Oracle BI Publisher. Create and maintain report templates, data models, and schedules. ● Collaboration and Communication: Work effectively with cross-functional teams, including finance, accounting, and other IT departments. Communicate technical information clearly and concisely to both technical and non-technical audiences. ● Customer Interaction: Interact with customers to understand their requirements, provide technical support, and resolve issues related to Oracle Financials and related systems. ● Problem Solving: Analyze and resolve complex technical issues related to Oracle Financials, integrations, and custom developments. ● Documentation: Create and maintain technical documentation, including design specifications, development standards, and system configurations. ● Best Practices: Adhere to Oracle development best practices and coding standards to ensure high-quality, maintainable solutions. Qualifications: ● Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. ● Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in Oracle development, specifically within an Oracle Financials environment. ● Strong proficiency in SQL and PL/SQL. ● Extensive experience with OTBI report development. ● Hands-on experience with Oracle Visual Builder Cloud Services (VBCS). ● Experience with Oracle Redwood. ● Strong understanding of REST and SOAP API concepts and integration techniques. ● Solid understanding of Oracle Financials modules (PGM, PTP, ITC, RTR) and related business processes. ● Experience in designing and developing reports using Oracle BI Publisher. ● Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. ● Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. ● Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Preferred Qualifications: ● Oracle certifications related to development. ● Experience with other Oracle Cloud technologies. ● Experience with other reporting tools.
