Role description
Location: Remote (US based) Employment Type: Contract or Permanent Start Date: Multiple projects commencing later this year About the Opportunity We are partnering with a global consulting firm that has secured several large-scale digital transformation projects scheduled for rollout later this year. As a Palantir Engineer/Developer, you will play a pivotal role in designing, building, and deploying data-driven solutions on Palantir platforms such as Foundry. This is an exciting opportunity to work with global clients across industries such as financial services, government, and healthcare, helping them unlock value from their data at scale. Key Responsibilities β€’ Develop, configure, and deploy applications and workflows within Palantir Foundry/Gotham. β€’ Collaborate with client stakeholders to understand business needs, data sources, and workflows. β€’ Design and implement data pipelines, transformations, and integrations from multiple systems. β€’ Build custom applications and analytical dashboards to support decision-making. β€’ Ensure security, scalability, and performance best practices across Palantir solutions. β€’ Provide technical expertise and thought leadership in Palantir development across project lifecycles. β€’ Work within agile, cross-functional teams including data engineers, analysts, and business consultants. Required Skills & Experience β€’ Proven experience as a Palantir Foundry Engineer/Developer (certifications desirable). β€’ Strong proficiency in data modeling, ETL, and data integration. β€’ Experience with Python, Java, or other programming languages for custom development. β€’ Hands-on experience with SQL and working with large-scale datasets. β€’ Familiarity with software engineering best practices (CI/CD, version control, testing frameworks). β€’ Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions. β€’ Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills. Desirable Skills β€’ Background in consulting or professional services. β€’ Experience in industries such as government, healthcare, energy, or financial services. β€’ Cloud platform knowledge (AWS, Azure, GCP) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes). β€’ Prior involvement in large-scale digital transformation or data modernization programs.
