Power BI Developer

Description Robert Half is seeking a Data Analyst (Anaplan/SQL focus) to support a Financial Services / Insurance organization based in Bellevue, WA (remote role). This role involves supporting the incentive compensation (IC) team by maintaining and enhancing Anaplan models, running SQL/Snowflake queries, and ensuring accurate, timely, and auditable sales compensation processes. Job Details: Schedule: Flexible; team spans multiple time zones, PST preferred Duration: Contract-to-hire opportunity Location: Remote Job Responsibilities: • Develop and enhance Anaplan incentive compensation (IC) models under guidance from the Lead Analyst (build and modify lists, modules, line items, and import actions). • Help maintain SQL and Snowflake queries and views used for Anaplan data feeds. • Use Excel for reconciliations, test cases, and investigations. • Support monthly IC processing through data preparation, QA, and reporting. • Track work and communicate status using a kanban board (Azure DevOps). • Document logic, test steps, and assumptions so work is repeatable and auditable. • Assist with audit requests and deliver small automation or process improvements. Requirements • 1-2 years of experience in a data analyst role. • Advanced Excel skills (PivotTables, Power Query, nested logic with XLOOKUP/XMATCH/SUMIFS). • SQL experience (joins, CTEs, and window functions). • Strong communication skills and ability to manage work in an organized, detail-oriented manner. • Anaplan exposure or willingness to complete certification (training provided).
