Role description
We are seeking a Project Reporting Analyst to support our internal operations at Clarity Consultants. The Reporting Analyst will analyze financial and operational data related to projects, deliver insights, and ensure transparency and accuracy in performance reporting.
This is a contract role supporting Clarityβs internal teams. The Reporting Analyst will own reporting deliverables for projects and collaborate with our Accounting and leadership teams to establish clear, standardized processes for reporting across the organization.
Key Responsibilities
Project Reporting & Financial Analysis
β’ Provide accurate and timely reporting on project performance, budgets, and KPIs.
β’ Track profitability, budget utilization, and hours across multiple projects.
β’ Prepare variance analyses and recommend adjustments to improve efficiency.
β’ Develop dashboards and reporting tools to improve visibility into project delivery and outcomes.
β’ Create and maintain standardized reporting templates and frameworks to ensure consistency across projects.
Technology & Process Optimization
β’ Evaluate and improve reporting tools, financial systems, and processes.
β’ Recommend and implement technology solutions to enhance project reporting and analytics.
β’ Identify opportunities for operational efficiencies and improved forecasting.
Collaboration & Partnership
β’ Bridge project, financial, and operational data to ensure consistency and clarity.
β’ Work with internal teams to align budgets, forecasts, and reporting standards.
β’ Support leadership in defining ownership and accountability for reporting across projects.

Hours: Flexible β however must be available during the business day for meetings

Experience Required:
β’ Strong business acumen with hands-on experience in project reporting, financial reporting, and analysis.
β’ Proficiency in building project reports, dashboards, and performance metrics.
β’ Skilled in developing templates, frameworks, and processes that drive reporting consistency.
β’ Strong collaboration skills with the ability to work effectively across multiple teams.
β’ Familiarity with professional services or project-based business models preferred.
β’ Ability to communicate complex financial and operational insights in a clear, actionable manner.
