This is a contract-based position (12 months), with potential for extension or conversion based on performance and roadmap expansion. ⸻ What You’ll Be Doing • Architect and build robust, high-performance APIs using Scala • Implement secure, reliable integrations with third-party partners and internal services • Work closely with product and frontend teams to define API specs and data contracts • Optimize endpoints for performance, scalability, and reliability • Ensure excellent documentation and versioning practices ⸻ Tech Stack • Languages Scala, Python, REST/GraphQL • Frameworks Akka HTTP, Play Framework, Http4s • Infra AWS, Docker, Kubernetes, PostgreSQL, Redis • Tools Swagger/OpenAPI, Postman, Git, CI/CD pipelines ⸻ Ideal Candidate • 5+ years of Scala experience (fluency in designing + building API's) • Deep understanding of RESTful API architecture and secure integration patterns • Solid knowledge of OAuth2, JWT, API rate limiting, and monitoring • Strong unit/integration testing discipline Interested in hearing more?
