Job Title: Senior Architect (Data Architect / Data Engineer) Contract Details: Duration: 12+ months Location: Wilmington, DE On-site (In-person interview required) Candidates Considered: USC, GC and H1B Senior Architect - Overview: Our client is seeking a Senior Data Architect / Data Engineer to support the development and management of the data infrastructure for their Data Lab . This role involves building scalable data pipelines, automating workflows, and ensuring compliance with data security and governance standards. Senior Architect - Key Responsibilities: Design, build, and maintain scalable data infrastructure and pipelines Develop and manage ETL processes for data ingestion and transformation Implement automation for real-time data access and system optimization Ensure data security, compliance, and governance across all platforms Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support analytical and reporting needs Senior Architect - Required Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field (Master’s preferred) 3–5 years of experience in data engineering, data architecture, or cloud engineering Proficiency in SQL and at least one programming language (Python, Java, or Scala) Experience with Azure or another major cloud platform Familiarity with containerization and orchestration tools (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes) Strong understanding of cybersecurity, data governance, and compliance standards Preferred Qualifications: Experience working in government, public safety, or legal data environments Industry certifications in Cloud Engineering, Data Engineering, or Security Exposure to GIS data, real-time streaming technologies, or Airflow
