What You’ll Do: • Design and implement custom scripts within Jira using Groovy or similar scripting languages • Develop and maintain integrations between Jira and other systems using APIs and webhooks • Create smart automations to reduce manual work and improve efficiency across engineering and product teams • Collaborate with stakeholders to identify needs and tailor Jira/Confluence setups accordingly • Troubleshoot and resolve issues with plugins, automations, and integrations What We’re Looking For: • 5+ years of engineering experience, preferably in DevOps or internal tooling environments • Strong experience scripting in Jira (ScriptRunner or equivalent) • Proven success building integrations using webhooks and REST APIs • Bonus points for experience with Confluence configuration and API usage • Familiarity with agile tooling and developer environments (CI/CD, GitHub, etc.) • A builder’s mindset and a passion for reducing friction for technical teams Ideal Engineering Profile: • Strong systems thinker with a bias for automation • Excited by opportunities to improve developer experience • Comfortable wearing multiple hats and experimenting with new tech • Enjoys collaborating across engineering, product, and ops teams
