Senior Java PL/SQL Developer/AI

Hello, Job Title: Senior Java PL/SQL Developer with AI Experience Location: 100% Remote Duration : Long-Term Contract Job Summary: Seeking a Senior Java & PL/SQL Developer with deep Oracle experience and exposure to AI/ML and cloud technologies. The role includes full-stack development, database optimization, system maintenance, and potential use of AI-assisted development tools. Must be able to work independently, lead tasks, and directly interface with clients. Key Responsibilities: • Design, develop, and maintain applications using Oracle PL/SQL, Java (Spring Framework), and Angular/TypeScript • Build and maintain web pages using Oracle MOD PL/SQL • Perform database performance tuning, bug fixing, and code reviews • Modify existing batch jobs and scripts (Shell/Unix) • Analyze and resolve system issues • Work on AI-enhanced development using cloud tools/services • Follow SDLC best practices, including version control (Git) and CI/CD • Ensure system security and compliance with customer standards • Provide production support, including on-call as required Required Skills & Experience: • 8+ years PL/SQL development (procedures, packages, triggers) • Oracle RDBMS expertise; complex schema management • Strong knowledge of Java (Spring), Angular, TypeScript, JavaScript, HTML, JSON • Experience with Shell scripting (Unix/Linux) • Familiar with SQL Developer, JDeveloper • Cloud experience (AWS, Azure, or GCP); containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) • Exposure to AI/ML models, pipelines, or cloud-based AI services • Excellent problem-solving, time management, and communication skills Preferred Skills (Nice to Have): • Experience using AI-assisted development tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot) • Knowledge of data science workflows (feature engineering, ML models) • Hands-on with cloud deployment of Python/ML applications
