Role description
About Augusta Precious Metals Our mission is to educate and empower Americans to diversify retirement savings and prepare for the future. We’re building a trustworthy analytics foundation across our Salesforce ecosystem to track the full funnel—from visits and leads to qualified calls, applications, trades, and clients. We’re hiring a Senior Tableau Developer who can also lead analytics/data integration—pulling data from Salesforce and marketing tools (e.g., Unbounce, Calendly, ad platforms), modeling it for accuracy, and publishing governed Tableau data sources and dashboards. This is a BI/analytics role, not a middleware/iPaaS role. What you’ll do • Build dashboards that matter: Design, develop, and maintain Tableau dashboards that track our marketing & sales funnel (LP visits → leads → EQL → webconf booked/completed → application → trade → client) with clear KPI definitions (CPL, CPEQL, CPA, S2P). • Model the data correctly: Create a scalable, governed data model for Salesforce (Sales Cloud & Experience Cloud) and related sources (e.g., Calendly, ad spend) using relationships or a warehouse layer. Prevent fan‑outs and double‑counting. • Integrate data with the right approach: Use native Tableau‑Salesforce connectors, Tableau Prep, and/or ETL to deliver reliable extracts; apply APIs only where needed. Plan for incremental refreshes and data quality checks. • Harden and govern: Implement row‑level security, metric dictionaries, certified data sources, monitoring/alerts, and documentation that outlives individuals. • Enable teams: Partner with GTM leadership to capture requirements and train users. What you’ve done • 5–7+ years in BI/analytics with deep Tableau experience (LOD expressions, relationships vs physical joins, table calcs, extract tuning, Hyper performance). • Strong SQL (window functions; aggregate-on-join patterns; date handling). • Hands‑on work connecting Salesforce to Tableau (Sales Cloud required; Experience Cloud data is still core Salesforce objects; Data Cloud a plus). • Has connected Tableau to Salesforce and at least one marketing source (e.g., Marketing Cloud, Unbounce, Google Ads, Calendly) and produced governed marketing/sales performance KPIs without CSV hand‑offs. • Comfortable with Tableau Cloud/Server administration and governance. • Bonus: Tableau Prep, dbt, or ETL tools (MuleSoft/Fivetran/etc.), Python for light API pulls, finance/investments domain familiarity. Engagement • Contract (remote), with potential to extend long‑term. • Immediate priority: Deliver the Salesforce <> Tableau analytics foundation and first dashboards; design for scale. Responsibilities [Be specific when describing each of the responsibilities. Use gender-neutral, inclusive language.] Example: Determine and develop user requirements for systems in production, to ensure maximum usability Qualifications [Some qualifications you may want to include are Skills, Education, Experience, or Certifications.] Example: Excellent verbal and written communication skills
