Senior Tableau Developer

Job SummaryWe are seeking a skilled Tableau Developer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining interactive dashboards and reports using Tableau. This role requires a strong analytical mindset and the ability to work with large datasets to derive actionable insights. The Tableau Developer will collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into effective data visualizations. Duties Design and develop interactive dashboards and reports using Tableau to support business decision-making. Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and ensure that data visualizations meet business needs. Perform data analysis and model training to enhance the effectiveness of visualizations. Integrate data from various sources including Azure Data Lake, and SQL databases. Utilize ETL processes to prepare and transform data for analysis. Maintain database design best practices while working with Microsoft SQL Server, and other database systems. Participate in Agile development processes to ensure timely delivery of projects. Conduct performance tuning of dashboards and reports for optimal user experience. Experience Proven experience as a Tableau Developer or similar role with a strong portfolio of dashboard projects. Experience with Azure Cloud Platform. Specifically, Synapse and/or Fabric environments. Proficiency in SQL for querying databases and performing data manipulations. Familiarity with programming languages such as Python, Java, and Shell Scripting is advantageous. Strong visualizations skills are mandatory. Knowledge of linked data concepts and techniques for effective data integration. Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex datasets and provide actionable insights. Experience in working within an Agile environment is preferred. Familiarity with ETL tools is beneficial.
