Role description
SharePoint & Power Automate Developer Fully Remote in EST Time Zone 6-Month Contract with Potential for Extensions or Conversion Overview: Our specialty pharmaceutical distribution client is searching for a SharePoint & Power Automate Developer to be instrumental in designing and implementing automated workflows that reduce manual effort, ensure data quality, and improve operational efficiency. The successful candidate must understand the importance of clean, reliable foundational data β€” such as vendor, customer, and product information β€” and how it supports overall business operations. Top Responsibilities: β€’ Design, develop, and maintain Power Automate workflows that streamline customer onboarding. β€’ Work closely with business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into functional solutions. β€’ Serve as a bridge between manual business processes and future SAP integration. β€’ Collaborate with a tight-knit Agile team (5 members) following true Scrum practices (daily standups, iterative delivery). β€’ Maintain governance and operational health of automated flows, addressing failures and making improvements. β€’ Present and communicate effectively with stakeholders, including Director-level leaders. Key Skills & Experience: Must-Haves: β€’ Experience in customer onboarding processes from any industry (healthcare, manufacturing, etc.). β€’ 3+ years of hands-on experience with: β€’ Power Automate (Microsoft Power Platform) β€’ SharePoint (Online & On-Premise) β€’ Microsoft 365 Suite: Excel Online, Outlook, SharePoint Online β€’ Strong understanding of: β€’ Low-code development principles β€’ JSON & SQL (for data formatting, basic querying, etc.) β€’ Experience in workflow automation, especially in data intake and validation. β€’ Ability to independently: β€’ Meet with users β€’ Document requirements and workflows (e.g., in Visio) β€’ Design, build, and maintain automation solutions β€’ Excellent oral and written communication skills; comfortable speaking with senior leadership. Nice-to-Haves: β€’ Experience with SAP (not required, workflows will not touch SAP directly). β€’ Familiarity with data governance and master data management.
