Job Title: System-Level Engineer
Location: Bay area, CA : Hybrid (Local Only)

Job Summary:
We are seeking highly skilled System-Level Engineers with strong hands-on experience in OS internals, kernel-level programming, and device driver development.
The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in Go programming, cloud-native technologies (Google Cloud, Kubernetes, Anthos), and automation tools such as Ansible and Puppet.
This role is not intended for application-level developers. Only those with strong foundations and practical experience in low-level systems engineering will be considered.
Key Responsibilities:
β’ Design, develop, and maintain system-level software, including device drivers, kernel modules, and OS-level components.
β’ Leverage Google Cloud Platform (GCP) to build scalable, resilient systems.
β’ Build and maintain infrastructure using Kubernetes and Anthos.
β’ Automate system configurations and deployments using Ansible and Puppet.
β’ Work closely with cloud infrastructure and DevOps teams to ensure seamless integration of system components.
β’ Debug complex system-level issues across software/hardware boundaries.
Required Skills & Experience:
β’ Strong experience in Go (Golang) for system-level development.
β’ Hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) services and architecture.
β’ Deep understanding and working knowledge of Kubernetes and Anthos.
β’ Proven track record in device driver development, kernel programming, or OS internals.
β’ Solid experience with Ansible and Puppet for automation and configuration management.
β’ Strong debugging and troubleshooting skills at the system and kernel level.
β’ Ability to work in a highly collaborative and technically challenging environment.
Nice to Have:
β’ Experience in performance tuning and optimization of system-level code.
β’ Exposure to other low-level languages (C/C++) is a plus.
β’ Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines in a system-level development context.
