• Excellent attention to detail when analysing and documenting data and business requirements
• Understanding of the key data quality themes typically experienced at the touchpoints between processes in large complex technology environments.
• Ability to work off own initiative to identify opportunities for improvement and better data insight.
• Use of Python / Jupyter notebooks to analyse data.
• Use of SQL to analyse data.
• Good Tableau skills to support data analysis and develop storytelling through efficient visualisations.
• Background in using advanced Tableau reporting / analytics capabilities to support Control / Business Data Analytics
• Proficiency with Excel and PowerPoint.
• Excellent attention to detail along with problem solving and analytical skills.
Key Skills Preferred
• Good understanding of Control points in Price Risk Front Office valuation processes and their interaction with Market Risk Management and Product Control.
• Strong business and data analysis skills
• Bachelors/University degree, Masters degree preferred
• Exposure to python data science libraries (e.g. SciKit-Learn) a plus.
• Excellent oral and written communications skills; must be able to use language efficiently and succinctly to deliver targeted messaging to senior stakeholders.
