Required Skills & Experience
Candidates must demonstrate excellence across four key areas: system administration, software development, communication, and enterprise scheduling.
Core Technical Skills
• UC4/Automic Operational Manager:
• 5–7 years of hands-on experience in Linux and Windows environments
• Proven success performing UC4 upgrades in production
• Integration with Oracle and SQL databases
• Scripting & Programming:
• 5–7 years with JCL, PowerShell, Perl, and Java
• Bash scripting (preferred)
• Scheduling Tools:
• 2+ years with Control-M and Autosys
• Linux Systems Administration:
• Experience in RedHat-based environments (preferred)
• Disaster Recovery & Automation:
• Development of DR solutions and automation scripts
• Patch Management & Upgrades:
• Planning and executing UC4/Automic product upgrades
Operational & Analytical Skills
• Incident triage and root cause analysis for batch job failures
• Development of monitoring and reporting solutions for job runs
• Documentation of scheduling policies and procedures
• 24/7 on-call support (rotating schedule)
Communication & Collaboration
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to present to project management and cross-functional teams
• High integrity and willingness to engage across organizations
Education & Certifications
• Required: Bachelor’s degree in technical, business, or related field
• Preferred: Master’s degree and UC4/Automic certification
