Adjunct Instructor – Computer Science (Remote)

We are in the final stages of preparing our application to the Florida Commission for Independent Education (CIE) and anticipate licensure by Spring 2026. Position Overview: We are seeking highly qualified and experienced Adjunct Faculty to teach in our Master of Science in Computer Science (MSCS) program. Faculty must hold a doctorate in Computer Science or a related discipline and have at least five years of experience teaching remotely in higher education, including significant experience with online course delivery. Course areas include: Advanced Programming & Data Structures Software Engineering AI & Machine Learning Cybersecurity Cloud Infrastructure & DevOps Data Visualization, Big Data, and Capstone Supervision The full course list is attached. Qualifications: Doctorate (PhD, DSc, or equivalent) in Computer Science or related field Minimum 5 years of experience teaching in remote/higher education Proven expertise in delivering graduate-level online courses Familiarity with instructional technologies, LMS, and collaborative tools Ability to guide applied research or supervise graduate capstone projects Excellent communication, organizational, and digital classroom engagement skills Application Requirements: Review the course list and note which courses you’re qualified to teach Submit redacted academic transcripts (remove sensitive information like SSN and DOB) Up-to-date CV or academic resume Please Note: These roles are pending final approval from the Florida CIE.
