We are seeking an experienced SAP Application Interface Framework (AIF) Developer with deep expertise in SAP S/4HANA integrations to join our Enterprise Applications team. This is a hands-on development role responsible for maintaining and enhancing our existing AIF implementation, supporting complex business logic, and building scalable solutions for future company code deployments in our global SaaS business.
You will work closely with solution architects, functional consultants, and business teams to ensure seamless integration between SAP S/4HANA Sales Order Management (SOM), upstream non-SAP CPQ systems, and other enterprise platforms.
Key Responsibilities:
· Maintain, optimize, and extend our existing SAP AIF framework, including custom business logic and mappings.
· Design and develop new AIF interfaces to support additional company codes and future market rollouts.
· Build and enhance integrations between SAP SOM and upstream non-SAP CPQ systems (preferably Salesforce CPQ or similar).
· Collaborate with architects to ensure integrations align with enterprise architecture standards and performance best practices.
· Debug, troubleshoot, and resolve complex integration and data mapping issues in AIF.
· Work closely with Revenue, Controlling, and Order-to-Invoice teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
· Support end-to-end integration testing (E2E UAT) and cutover activities for deployments.
· Provide technical documentation, version control, and knowledge transfer to ensure maintainability of solutions.
· Ensure integration designs account for SaaS subscription business models, recurring billing, and phased contract scenarios.
· Monitor AIF error handling and implement proactive alerting/monitoring solutions.
Required Skills:
· 5+ years hands-on development experience in SAP AIF (Application Interface Framework).
· Strong experience with SAP S/4HANA Sales Order Management (SOM).
· Proven track record integrating SAP S/4 with upstream non-SAP CPQ platforms (e.g., Salesforce CPQ, Oracle CPQ).
· Deep understanding of IDoc, Proxy, and API-based integrations.
· Experience with SaaS subscription billing models, order management, and revenue recognition flows.
· Solid ABAP development skills for implementing and enhancing AIF logic.
· Strong debugging and performance tuning skills.
· Knowledge of data migration processes and tools in SAP environments.
· Experience in multi-company code environments and scalable integration designs.
· Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced, global project environment.
